Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas is an action-adventure video game, published in November 2013 for iOS devices by the Finnish game studio Cornfox & Brothers. The game was later released on other platforms including PC, Xbox, PS4, Android, and Nintendo Switch.[1]
The music of Oceanhorn was composed by Nobuo Uematsu and Kenji Ito.
Plot[]
The Kid wakes up one day, his father missing and the only lead is his late mother's necklace and an old friend. Under his guidance, the Kid begins to search for his father and prepares to face an ancient Arcadian machine: Oceanhorn. He travels the Uncharted Seas and collects the Sacred Emblems that will help him defeat Oceanhorn and reunite with his father. Yet, Oceanhorn is not the only one the Kid has to fear... the Dark Apostle and his master, Shadow-Mesmeroth, have their fingers in this game of fate as well!
Gameplay[]
The gameplay and graphic design of Oceanhorn closely follows that of the Legend of Zelda video games, notably The Wind Waker and A Link to the Past. Players explore dungeons, fight monsters with various weapons, and throw pots and cut bushes to find hidden coins or hearts.[1]
