The Emblem of Earth is one of the legendary Emblems of Creation, symbolising earth and fire and embodying the consciousness of the Goddess Neyto.

History[]

The Emblem of Earth arrives on Gaia with the Cocoon during the landing of the Beacons. The Owrus are born from within the Beacon and populate the surrounding forests of Pirta.

During the Direfolk War, the Owrus agree to hand over the Emblem to Archimedes so he could study it. The Grand Regent sends a warlock to retrieve it, but several Owrus try to stop him in the jungle. Despite their efforts, the warlock is able to retrieve the Emblem, as they have to give up their pursuit at their Sacred Grounds.[1]

The removal of the Emblem of Earth and the other Emblems wakes and strengthens a demon: Shadowmaga. Only with great losses the war is won and a new age of peace and prosperity begins.

Pre-Catastrophe[]

Emblem of Earth returned

Finally the Emblem of Earth is returned to the Cocoon.

Many years later, for the completion of the Grand Core, Archimedes tasks a group of knights to return the Emblems back to their Beacons. Thus the knights and Ambassador Irontalon carry the Emblem of Earth back to Pirta. They arrive at L'Istrait Town and the Emblem is kept save with Ambassador Irontalon in his room. During the night he is kidnapped by Eye clan bandits and the Emblem of Earth is taken from him. The Arcadian Knights find the Eye Clan hideout and recover the Emblem and rescue Irontalon. Together, they continue on their way to the Sacred Grounds, and into the Pirta Beacon, the Cocoon. They activate the pedestal and make their way up to the top to return the Emblem. There the group is attacked by Chora Tuyk, the Firebird who had terrorised Owrus for many years now. The Knights defeat the Firebird, and Ambassador Irontalon finally returns the Sacred Emblem.

Post-Catastrophe[]

After TRILOTH destroys the Cocoon, Ambassador Irontalon and several other Owrus search the wreckage, and find the Emblem. They proceed to safeguard it within the Forest Shrine Pyramid.

Sometime after the Catastrophe, a cloaked figure brings a seed to the Forest Shrine, planting it in the main hall, where it begins to grow violently into the demon plant Turmos. The Owrus are forced to flee the shrine and live in the surrounding forests. Eventually, a descendant of the very Knights who had defeated Chora Tuyk appears, kills the demon plant and claims the Emblem of Earth. The last Owrus are able to return to the shrine to sing a long song to their ancestors.

The Emblem of Earth later merges with the other Emblems to form the Master Emblem.

Tarock-sacredemblems

"Remnants of the Past, Key to the Future - The Sacred Emblems are powerful artifacts from a past long gone, containing the essence of Sol, Trito and Neyto, the three benevolent Gods watching over Gaia. Archimedes has studied them for decades, learning all their deepest secrets. It's now the knights’ task to bring them back to where they belong - but could it be that there is more than meets the eye, and that the true nature of the Emblems has not been fully disclosed?"
