The Abandoned Mines are a dungeon on Bomb Island containing three sections and smaller subsections. The Kid fights the Cepedes here and acquires the bombs.

The entrance to the mines lies far in the north of the island. The Kid has to pass through the Bomb Maker's House, through the gate behind it and keep following the winded path until he reaches the entrance.
